  no matter what else happens after, this is a good thing. i'm not quite to proud, but at least i'm no longer embarassed. i'll go with articulate any day. even if i don't agree with every aspect, at least it sounds good, and i can follow the fucking logic!

    I always hoped that I'd be able to see the end of the white male lock on the Presidency. It happened a little sooner than I expected, but this kind of change does tend to come suddenly. Given how our expectations were so beaten down by the last 8 years the Obama election is a very special and welcome turnabout. It's as if the law against hoping was repealed.
